About
We Care, Restore, and Empower
Formosa Acupuncture is a space where your well-being comes first and you are met with genuine care.
My name is Hsini, pronounced “shee-nee,” meaning “joy in the heart,” a sentiment that guides the way I care for my patients. This place is for you to feel at ease, understood, and supported during your treatment. My hope is that each visit brings comfort, clarity, and a sense of meaningful restoration.
In my clinical work, I support a range of concerns including pain, women’s health, digestion, emotional balance, and increasingly, the effects of stress and fatigue on the eyes. Many people experience eye strain, dryness, or discomfort from prolonged screen use. In Chinese medicine, the eyes are closely connected with how the body responds to rest, circulation, and fatigue. Acupuncture gently supports the eyes and helps the body settle, so recovery can happen more naturally.
The name Formosa reflects my roots in Taiwan, a place known for its warmth and kindness. Formosa, meaning “beautiful island,” was a name given by Portuguese explorers in the 16th century. Born and raised in Taiwan, I carry that spirit into the heart of this clinic to create an environment that feels open, grounded, and nurturing.
Wherever you are in your healing journey, you’re welcome here.
